Here’s the link to the 2011 Financial Report for Motorcycles, Autos, Financial Services and Power Equipment.
CBRVFR’s MCADX Executive Summary:
>The report calls out figures since 2007. Until 2009, North America consistently bought more motorcycles than either Europe or Japan. Now we buy fewer than either. (JP 190,000 US 185,000 EU 202,000)
>Those three markets together are less than 6.5% of the number of bikes they sell in Asia. (9,178,000) Time to get over ourselves.
>Why bother with us at all? We spend a bunch more on those fewer bikes we do buy: 1.25 Billion US versus 7.53 B US for all those Asian scooters.
>Interestingly, Honda sells 3 times more cars here than in Japan, NA is their biggest market for autos by far.
>But the real reason they are here is because we rock their profit world in Loans. Take a look.
